Smeeth and Brabourne Junior Football Club 2015-16 Season

Dear Members, Carers and Supporters

Welcome to all the new members that have joined us this season and our returning SABFC family.

It looks like being a great season. Aside from our football, the huge community fundraising towards the redevelopment of our own pitch facility has started to show results. The improvements to our pitch in Smeeth are well underway and we are hoping to have more updates as the weeks go on. What is promised is going to be an amazing facility and one that will be geared specifically towards our club. But we do not want it to stop there; we have lots of plans to help us continue to grow as a fantastic club.

As many of you know our subscriptions are by far the cheapest in the area and this is only possible with the help of fundraising and sponsorship. As a club this must be down to everyone involved, not just the committed volunteers that keep things going.

The reality is, that subscriptions will rise if we can’t support the the club fundraising.  We need everyone to do their bit! Please get behind us. It is your children who benefit.

In the coming season everyone is needed to do their bit to support the events that we are planning. Without this support, we simply can’t maintain the level of service and facilities that our players deserve
The coaches, support staff and all those behind the scenes are busy but dedicated people, who all volunteer to give the players both matches and training at less than £3 a week!

Smeeth And Brabourne FC. A small community club, with a big heart and massive potential.

Please take some time to view our website and especially to visit our meet the team pages as this is what we are really all about.

Training takes place on Tuesday evenings for all but our youngest age group. With a wide range of matches on Saturdays, there will be plenty of football on offer.

The club has taken delivery of a number of new kits. In our traditional red and  black, the new Nike kits from ACA Sports look great. The kits are sponsored by our long term partners, HOLIDAY EXTRAS and new sponsors, J10 ELECTRICAL, COOPERS BUTCHERS OF ALDINGTON and BOB FISHER’S GARAGE. In addition, we have a very special new kit for the under 14s, commemorating our adoption of THE TEENAGE CANCER TRUST as our club charity. Watch out for the kit launches in the near future. Thanks to all of those who made the new kits happen…..

Following the official launch of our new Teenage Cancer Trust kit, we have featured on their website. Visit the TCT website via the logo below and look us up in the regional events and fundraising section.

We are again very grateful for the support of Mike Cardno and the team at Network Cabling for funding the renewal of our website hosting. This is a great help and is one of our longest standing partnerships. Thanks Mike. It is much appreciated.

BREAKING NEWS…… Our fabulous little club has received the final total for our Sport Relief Mile event this year. In addition to the. £1200 raised for THE TEENAGE CANCER TRUST on the day, we also raised a staggering £3860 for Sport Relief. So, a total of over £5000 in one day…Be proud, SABFANS, be very proud. Thanks to all of those who made it happen.
